Aditya’s story doesn’t start with a camera. It starts with a stage, a spotlight, and a boy who fell in love with storytelling. But life, as it often does with the best stories, took a detour. In college, he came across the Bhagavad-gita. One book, one moment and the script flipped.
What followed was over a decade of life as a monk in ISKCON, immersed in philosophy, service, and silent revolutions of the heart. Yet even in the quiet of temple walls, his love for narrative never faded. He mentored. He performed. He directed. He ran digital campaigns, produced films, and led communications for one of the world’s largest food relief efforts – The Akshaya Patra Foundation.
For 13.5 years, his life was driven by purpose and powered by stories. And then, in 2018, the next chapter began.
Avatar Studios didn’t begin in a boardroom. It was born out of reflection, courage, and a hunger to create with meaning. Aditya stepped out of the ashram with a vision: to build a creative house that could do it all- films, design, digital, strategy. And it worked. Until the world stopped.
The pandemic forced a hard reset. And with that came clarity. The agency streamlined. Stripped away the noise. And at the core was the one thing that never changed – storytelling.
